Bright Explorers Homeschool Cooperative is a secular, inclusive, parent-led homeschool cooperative that is a registered New Jersey non-profit. We started as a mask-mandatory co-op in August 2021 and the Board of Trustees reserves the right to possibly re-instate masking at our discretion as infection numbers change, with the safety of all members in mind.
We currently offer classes that are suggested for ages 3 – 14. Older teens and younger toddlers are welcome to attend all social events. Our hope is that children and parents will make lasting friendships. Our mission is to provide social opportunities and educational support for homeschooling families.
We meet Thursdays in suitable weather at an outdoor location. We also enjoy many field trips on other week days. Some field trips are indoors, and all trips are optional.
We offer a social membership that allows families to attend field trips and other social gatherings, as well as a full membership which allows families to register for and attend classes and have access to social events and field trips. We strive to keep costs low for families.
